Which is better Comcast Cable or Directv?

My husband and I are trying to find the best deals. We currently have Comcast digital with DVR and high speed internet. We are currently paying around $120.00. So does anyone think that Directv is a better deal over Comcast?
Is broadband high speed internet (Cricket, Werizon, …) safer than cable internet (cox) as far as your neighbor?

Like I have good experiences with Linksys, so will that work? Or do cable companies have deals with certain wireless routers? Also is wireless internet always through a cable company? Is wireless just an adaption of cable interent?
